New E.P. in the works
29th December 2009
That’s right, you heard it here first! The Misconducts have started work on a follow up to 2006’s Daisy Cutter. So far 3 songs have been recorded and mixing is underway. More songs are slated to begin recording in the new year, but there should be new Misconducts music to listen to very soon.
Here are a few shots from the pre-production sessions back in October:

The Misconducts – on hiatus….kinda
25th July 2006
Well, The Misconducts have been forced to take a short break. After a very busy spring including the launch of their first website, the release of their first full length album “Daisy Cutter“, and their first television performance, they find themselves in a sort of awkward position. Guitarist Johnny Walker and drummer John Simmonds both checked themselves into rehab to put an end to their nightly drunken escapades, bassist Jimmy Walker is currently serving a sentence for mouthing off a cop, singer Craig Anselmo couldn’t be reached for comment due to being in protective custody as a witness to Jimmy Walker’s trial, and lead guitarist Glenn Sagman is stranded on a remote deserted island waiting to be rescued. In any case, this should all be resolved by the end of the summer, and the rock will resume with a split dvd with fellow Worn Records recording artists The Assassination. Have a good summer everyone!

A Revolution Of Rock
22nd May 2006
This past saturday, The Misconducts destroyed the stage at the Carpenter’s Hall in New Westminster B.C. The seven song set had everyone in awe, as they blasted through it like it was their last time ever. Two From The Tailor, Red Eye Express, Reta’s Gone, I Don’t Mind, Gone Travelin’, Johnny’s Two Car Garage, and Whatcom County Lines rounded up the set. Absent from the show was lead guitarist Glen Sagman, but The Misconducts still charged through their performance with the energy of a five piece, and were unaffected by their missing mate.
The performance from this past Saturday will air on Shaw Cable 4 on Friday June 2nd at 12:30 am. You can also view it at the Stone Head Films myspace page in a few weeks. And make sure to check out the updated Images page to see the photos from the show.

The Misconducts – Hit The Studio
12th February 2006
On Saturday February 11, The Misconducts spent the day in studio recording a new single. “It’s an old tune that we never really finished” commented guitarist Johnny Walker about the song. Without much time to prepare or rehearse, The Misconducts blasted through the tune half a dozen times before nailing the magic take. Look for the download on this site in the next few weeks!
Daisy Cutter – set for a spring 2006 release
